Novex’s initial advertising test of 30 hybrids and bio-diesel trucks indicated that this is one of the most cost effective forms of advertising. Vehicle wrapping is a regional buy that has a strong impact on a local market. However, strong creative direction can result in a campaign that generates national or international coverage.

1. VANCITY CREDIT UNION is a credit union fighting big banks with bigger budgets. Vancity used print, radio and vehicle wraps to promote the fiscal advantage of local-ness, community and enviro-sensitivity.

Ipsos Awareness Study:
- 12% were aware of the campaign and 2% linked it to Vancity
- Similar numbers to what the study found in print campaigns during the same time period
- Very successful considering that the spend on vehicle advertising was 1/5th of the print campaigns 

 2. Honda: Honda’s campaign objectives where to raise awareness of their hybrid car program.
Vehicle wraps on 10 hybrids for two years in the lower mainland.

- Cost: $200,000/two year period
- Contracted 1,380,000 kilometers was exceeded, over 1,500,000 traveled
